Chillin' (literally) outside

Cuddling up to stay warm.... Sky dreaming....
Connor always has a stick....or two....or three....or five.....
And here is Boomer...at 9 1/2 weeks. He still has his heart.

Ice....

There are big chunks of ice still spread throughout the yard. How can you break it? What do you do with it. It is difficult to dig in the sand box...the ground is rock hard. It is fun to watch the kids find new ways to manipulate things.....but I can't wait for spring.

Too cute! Bryan loves to put these glasses on. He will try to walk around with them, but they are pretty distorting, so he takes them off....then puts them on...then takes them off....and puts them back on...then off....then on. Super cute Bryan!!

Penguin week

Ashley, Kamil, and Connor are all using the rice table. The rice is black and white and little penguins are hiding within.

Connor is building a snowman. He was also counting the penguins.

Ashley is using a eye dropper to add purple water to sugar cubes....She is pretending they are ice blocks or icebergs. She stacked them up to make tunnels (like in the pictures) and then added the water and watched them melt. She came back to this all day to see what was happening with the blocks.

Here is the little science/math table. They are working on the folder games and puzzles. Oh...and the hamster got a new cage/home!

SNOW!

It Snowed!....Not enought to make snowmen, but enough to cause havvoc in the streets. It was a quiet day today, only 4 little snow children came to play. Everyone, even Boomer, enjoyed the snow....ice.

My new baby!

This is my new baby,Boomer. He is a sweetheart! It was a hard decision between him and his sister, but then they pointed out the heart shape on him and I knew he was mine....as my birthday is on Valentines day.He is so sweet and such a big cuddlebucket! So far he has been very good with the kids. When he gets too riled up...it's time for a time out, Just like the big kids.
Kamil was brushing Boomer all pretty!......and he really liked it. Then he got the string treament from Jesse.

Checkin in

Hi All,

I'm just checking in because it has been awhile. During the holidays it is super crazy. My 3 boys are home......which is great, but takes up naptimes when I usually blog, and we are doing lot's of crafts and making gifts for Christmas.
I have some making up to do, as far as adding blogs, and it now won't be in order, but I will work on that this week. So.....no, I have not forgotten, just been super busy.
I hope all had a great holiday and New Years!......I got the best present ever....but you will have to wait to see what that is!!
